Guest 69_Electra_NH
Hi All,I have been struggling trying to find new "round" wheels for my 69 Electra 225. Does anyone know where I might score these? Alternatively do you know if there are other GM models that used the same wheel or a later year Electra? For instance, I found a place in CA that has 71 and up Electra rims, but am hesitant to buy unless I know they will fit.Thanks!-scott
Rusty_OToole
Some big tire stores will true up your wheels for a small fee. They will also shot blast and paint them. Usually this service is for big truck wheels but they can do car wheels too.
60FlatTop
If you are using wheel covers you might be able to get some 5X5 15" steel truck rims. Just check that your wheel covers will work. Weld Wheels is one manufacturer.Bernie
Pontiac59
GM used 5x5 wheels on tons of cars - all 71-76 full size, big body full size 77-89 plus most full size wagons, Astro vans, Chevy/GMC 1/2 ton 2WD pickups '71 up, etc. -
