Guest Ted_Haynes
The man in this photo was born in 1892 and looks to be in his early 20's. The photo was taken in rural Oregon, south of Bend. Please advise me, if possible, what make, model, and year the car is. Even a some good guesses, particularly on the the year, would be helpful. Thanks,Ted Haynes

Guest Ted_Haynes
Thanks. Your identification allows us to figure out who the car belonged to (not the man in the photo). In her memoir as an older woman, a neighbor wrote, "Mr. Atkinson had a beautiful 1916 Model T with no top and a brass radiator, carriage lamps, and a horn that squawked loudly when someone squeezed the bulb. We all loved the car, especially the horn. Mr. Atkinson took us for a ride in it one day - a treat I have never forgotten."
Joe Block
I love hearing these old stories, that why i enjoy reading the early pre-1960 AACA Magazine stories, Restorations were done with help of the local machine shops. Not by specialty shops. People talk about having pieces cast locally from the example one has.
TheMoneyPit
I believe the car is a 1916 as the side lights look like they were painted as opposed to brass and there is a horn button on the column - in 1915 there was an experimental horn placed on some cars, but not all and in 16 it became standard equipment.
