1953 Buick Skylark VIN location

This is Mike Vietro aka Corvette Mike in Calif. I am currently at the Mecum auction in Monterey and I'm assisting them in finding the vin location on the frame rail. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Mike-I have the front end off my 53 Skylark project and the serial number is stamped into the top of the LH frame rail less than 12" back front the front edge of the rail. It should begin with a 1 and be in the serial number sequence 1674001-1721401 as these cars were made in Flint, MI.
