1951 Patrician Spark Plug

Recommended Posts

Somewhere a while back I read that an AC-C49 spark plug can be used in my 1951 Patrician in lieu of the Champion J8. But now I can't find any reference that confirms that this AC plug can be used. Can it? Thanks.

In my '51 327 I used the RJ12C and the plugs were hit by the piston just enough to change the gap. I changed to a A5 which is a bit shorter and hotter.

Champion J8 is a short 3/8 inch 9.5mm reach plug. NGK recommend their B6S I have found that their plugs to give excellent service.
