I just got a 53 Buick Special Riviera Straight 8 for a project. Before I do a full restoration on it, I am working on get it to run. <o:p></o:p>

I have put all new plugs, new wire set ant Dist. Cap.<o:p></o:p>

I need to verify all the wire position on the Dist. Cap. From 1 to 8<o:p></o:p>

Please if anyone has a diagram on the order or a drawing or know any website that have it? please let me know, Thanks.<o:p></o:p>

Make sure the wiring for the plugs is copper wire, not the modern stuff.

Try Bob's Automobilia

His website shows various manuals Perhaps a 53 Buick Shop Manual is not shown, but an owners manual is available.

A shop manual reprint is available if you check out various sources for old auto parts.

Try listing 1953 Buick Shop manual on the Web site search, and see what you come up with.

As far as I know they didn't print a manual for the 53 straight eight Special. You have to get one for the 52 Special.

Anybody, correct me if I'm wrong.
