GE Dictator 1928
Hi All,My Dictator is almost ready for the road, though not in this incredible heat we're having which is delaying the process at this point.I need to repaint the middle of a couple of my hubcaps with the black background and red "S". Does someone know what type of paint is good to use on that metal? Thanks!!Keith
Guest stude8
On my 1928 Commander Victoria caps I used Rust-Oleum Regal Red #7765 oil based enamel and it bonds good and is the right shade of Red for appearance. I did them on the kitchen table with an artist brush. Keep a rag with paint thinner handy to wipe any drips that get on the wrong surface.Attached is a photo of finished wheel & hub cap.Stude8
