1923 special six clock

I figured out my problem. There is a metal bar that the wqooden dashboard attaches to. This bar has to be taken off to get the clock out of the dashboard housing. When I did, the clock started working.

I've attached photos of the clock. I don't believe this is the original clock, as the inner parts of the clock were all shinny brass and very new and clean looking. there was no brand name on the face of the clock. Hope the photos help you.
