Welcome to the confusing world of Joomla! You link to the PDF just like you did in html.

  1. In an open article, place your cursor where you want to link to a document.
  2. On the Toolbar, click Insert File Link.
  3. In the Folders box, click on the folder that contains the document.
If you need to upload a document, perform the following steps:

a. Click
Upload
(the button is above the
Details
box) and then select the document on your local machine.

b. Once the file is uploaded, click the x on the
Upload
dialog box to close it.

c. In the
Title
box, type the text you want to use for the link. Make the link descriptive.

4. Click
Insert
to insert the link to the document.

5. View the article on your website to verify that the new document links works.

If you still need help, let me know and I can write something up in Word with screen shots.

After working with Joomla for about 3 three years, I am still taking baby steps. Don't hesitate to ask if you need help. I can't guarantee I can help, but I will try.

Yes, the whole web site is done in Joomla. When I converted the website three years ago, I had no idea how to proceed, so I bought a template. The one I bought was called Vintage by Joomlashack. I liked the look of the modules - especially the bulletin feature.
