Dauphinee
Ok. I am starting to look into the 1936 Pontiac 4 door. I am removing some of the door panels since they are falling off. I am finding some rotten wood inside them.Does anyone make a kit to remove the old wood and put new stuff in??Does anyone have a picture of what it should look like with the door panel on and off? jscheib
Dauphinee,.I assume Pontiac is much like Buick. You will not find a kit or any patterns. Only photos in a body manual. You will just have to fit and hand carve the various pieces to match the new wood to the sheet metal. There are lot of good woodworkers on the forums that should be able to help you.More important may be the wood in the supports. Are the doors sagging?John
Restorer32
We are about to rewood 4 doors for a '36 Olds. Would they be the same?
