finally, some progress

Recommended Posts

after 30 years, my mercedes is back on its original wheels. the '37 has been sitting as a stalled project in my front garage for the last 5 years. I am finally going to give it my full attention. Waiting for my piston rings and new head gasket and the motor will be fresh and ready to go. The body work is at a point where I can sy it will see paint before fall. and the bad wood is being cut and shaped as I write. will try and get some better pics soon.

Ditto that!

My "other" VW Convertible, a '69 that was acquired around this time last year, has been getting metalworked by a specialist since then (due to rust and faulty previous repairs of same), and is due to be coming home again soon, so that Mrs. Stock Steve and I can then start on putting back together what needs to be put back together, and then overall cosmetics, and so forth. It's a great feeling to know that another old car is on its way back to usable status.

Anyway, congrats and keep up the good work...
