Jim Posted April 23, 2011 Share Posted April 23, 2011 I have a '49 Olds coupe that I have owned since 1974. It is a California rust free car. I stripped it to bare metal many years ago and it is in primer. ( Always Stored indoors. ) I run it about once a year and it has new dual exhaust on it. About 10 years ago I had the bumpers rechromed thinking that would be the push I needed to finish the car. Never happened, the bumpers are in the rafters of the garage.I also have three '49-50 Olds parts cars and lots of extra parts. I am saving the parts until I get this '49 done and then will sell the extra parts and cars but NOT until this car is done or I sell it.I would like to buy a '50 coupe and if I can find one I would sell this car. The car I am looking for would be simply a "driver", a number 3 or 4 condition is fine with me.I would also be interested in trading this car and all the parts for a '50 coupe.
