Hello,

On the glove box lid and other places there are small inserts in the holes that

serve to hold the chrome trim on. Many of these are blind holes with no access

to the back. What are these fasteners called and are they available?

Thanks,

Dennis

We have always called them barrel tinem nuts. Hardware store should have them. They insert from the front. Lee Waldren Florida

Thanks Lee,

None of the hardware stores around here have them. I searched Mcmaster for barrel, tinem and tinnerman nuts to no avail. These are the inserts that hold the studs from the chrome trim. I can't get any out without destroying them. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Dennis
