1913Moline
I cropped the cars out of a family photo of mine. The back car looks like a 13 or 14 Model T I think. What is the front car??I think that the photo was taken 1918-1920 timeframe. Thanks in advance for the collective expertise that exists here!! oldford
With the curved rear fenders, the rear car is most likely a 1915 or a 1916 Ford. It also has the small side lights that were on the 15's and up. A 1913-14 Model T would have had a windshield that was folded back. As far as the front car is concerned, hard to tell, might be a Chevy 490.Frank
nzcarnerd
Yes, the other one looks to be a Chevrolet 490, later model one though, no earlier than 1920. It has the raised hood line and more hood louvres than the earlier models.
Layden B
On the Chevrolet, a reverse curve in the front fender where it meets the running board was a new feature for 1920 and this car doesn't have it.

nzcarnerd
Looking at this one again, it must have been taken around 1920. The Chev 490 is an earlier model from 1916-17 because it does not have demountable wheel rims but has had the hood replaced with one from a 1920 car which has more louvres. Maybe the earlier models had overheating troubles?
