scottie
I purchased from the original owner's widow. Astro Blue, blue deluxe cloth interior.. California car with the original black&gold plates and protect-o-plates. Fully loaded..number's matching, am/fm, a/c, power vents, cruise, wooden steering wheel..etc..etc...sitting for about 10 years.I really liked the color combo, you don't come across ones like this very often.Scott

scottie
Brought new Los Angeles area dealer in 1965, owner retired and moved back home to Louisiana in 1999 where I purchased it, 34 years in CA. First check was to verify the Vin and LX code on the block.

RivNut
Scottie's not talking about $$$$ here. Makes you wonder if his barn find isn't also the steal of the century. Or he really got hosed and won't admit it. Ed
mt65riv
What difference does it make how much he paid for it? Hopefully he'll have enough left over to complete the restoration. Mike
Guest Rob J
Congrats. I too, just recently purchased a 65 GS Sahara Mist, fully optioned car, even with Guide matic. In similar condition to yours, but a bit more in a disassembled state. In the process of a frame off now. It is very exciting seeing these cars coming back to life.Keep in touch with the restoration, and let me know if you need anything. Rob.

bb1970
Come on Scottie. Drop the bomb. Tell everybody you paid $1500. Put air in the tires, dropped a battery in it and drove it home.

George Buick Riviera
Yes, $$$ doesn't matter, unless you have them ;-)Have fun with her and enjoy it !By the way - is the label (decal) on the air filter correct for Riv 65 GS ? I ask as my filter has no any, so I will have to look for it.
