kdml
Does anyone make a repro gas pedal or parking brake pedal pad for a '65 Riviera. I could only find a brake pedal padThanks

kdml
Thanks GlenI looked at their site before I posted and did not see a listing. My original parking brake pad matched the brake pad, in that it had a narrow chrome strip on the top and bottom of the pad. I will give them a callAny thoughts on the gas pedal? RivNut
Glen has the brake and e-brake pedal pads in a few colors in the catalog but you'd need to contact him as to why he doesn't have the gas pedals. Here's the link to the brake pedal pads Old Buick Parts - CARS. kdml
I spoke with Glen this afternoon and he indicated that they don't carry either the parking brake pad or gas pedal for a '65. I will keep searching
RivVrgn
Try classicbuicks.com I believe they have the e- brake pad and the brake pad. But no gas pedal.Joey #12753 Edited March 13, 2011 by RivVrgn (see edit history)
petelempert
I got a reproduction gas pedal for my 63 from Original Parts Group. It fits and functions well...but does not look exactly the same as the original. The shape is slightly different...tapered at the top...and the chrome trim featured on the original will not fit on the new one. It's black and really blends in down there so you don't really notice. I had no choice...the old one was such a skank it was crumbling at the base where the ball fittings attach. PRL
