I think the "I" might be "1" in part #CIMB-- and that translates to 1961 Mercury.

I think this shot shows the part with its emblem mounted.

I wish every manufacturer used Ford's system! This is a 1961 full-size Mercury part number.

That doesn't mean that the 1961 Merc is the only car that used the part, though. It's just the car the part was initially designed for. There may have been later used for the part that would not have effected the part number. Given that these are rather simple bezels for fender ornaments, these may have been used in another, later FoMoCo car.

They weren't used in the 1962 Mercury, however. See below:
