I have a 1931 Ford and I've been trying to find out the value on it. It runs, and it's in great shape. This car was given to me. Kinda curious a round about dollar of what its worth.

What a great gift! You can enjoy it as it is, but for this site a few clues gave it away as a modified or street rod.

#1 The gas tank has be lost (See The radio antenna? That's the gas tank, so whoever did the car moved the tank someplace else)

#2 Tinted glass. (Originally clear plate glass)

#3 Aluminum wheels and fat tires. (Originals were 19 X 5)

#4 Wrong headlights. (The originals were bigger and stainless steel)

#5 Turn signals (Some of us hide them in cowl light on original cars)

#6 Color (Red was not one of the originals)

#7 Pin Striping on fenders. (It was on the body only, and paintedm not tape)

The assumption is made that with these modification that it no longer has the

40 HP 4 cylinder flathead Model A motor or transmission.

Value? To a street rodder, $10,000 to $18,000 depending on how well the modification were done.

If you like it the value is priceless, enjoy it and don't worry about the money. The old car hobby has room for everyone that likes the looks of these cars. Most of us like to see them all, but this group prefers cars in their original configuration. Some of us have both kinds. Yours looks fine to me.
