buick840 Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 Terrible news for those who haven't heard.........Another large earthquake has hit New Zealand in the Christchurch area.Looks to have been much more damage than the ones in Sept 2010.From latest reports there have been over 60 fatalities with many unaccounted for.So may I please ask that you all offer our Kiwi mates your prayers during this tragic time.Please can someone in NZ give us some updates whenever you are able to. NSW has sent a bunch of rescue experts to help out and I see we had hundreds of doctors and nurses there on the spot as the quake happened. Australia has said "tell us what you need and it's yours"As much as we take the mick out of the Kiwis, and they us, we are family and will respond as such. Booreatta Posted February 23, 2011 Share Posted February 23, 2011 Got a message from a BCA member that lives in Christchurch and he reported that his family and him were all OK, but he said by text message that there is a Hugh loss of life.
