Ford Identification

What's the difference between 1933s and 1934s besides the grille?

1933 had one hood handle per side; 1934 had two. Also, the hood side louvers are different from 33-34. Unfortunately, the picture does not reveal enough of the hood sides to ID.

Yes...the hood sides are gone. One of the reason it's hard to tell the year.

It's a 33 or 34 Ford Fordor. The venting window (That slides back on the 34)

in only on the front doors. The front one is hidden by the cowboy, making it

not possible to rule out 1933.

It's also a Standard Fordor, without cowl lights.

If you are having trouble viewing the picture, double click on it, then double click on it again and you'll get a nice close up view. You'll notice the cowboy is smoking a camel, the car has a 1933 hub cap and the inspection sticker is expired. Ah, 20/20 imagination!
