ID 23 inch early wood wheels

Recommended Posts

Picked up 3 wheels in the last year and I don't know what they go to. They are 23 inches in diameter. The pair of matching rear wheels shown in this thread have the rear axle brake drums. The plate that holds the sections of wood rims together has the letter P stamped into it.

The plate on the wood felloes is from the wheel manufacturer Prudden, many early Model T Ford wheels ( which this is not) were made by the same company. Rim seems to be for 30 x 3 1/2 clincher tires, very common at the time ( circa 1910).
