Guest Brenthopton
Hello, I have a 1940 Zephyr and I lost a headlight trim ring. I have posted a picture of the chrome ring that I am looking for, it has been painted red on top. If I can't find a perfect match, i might have to buy 2 from a different year. Any help/leads are really appreciated! Edited February 9, 2011 by Brenthopton adding picture (see edit history)
Guest nasmith
Brent, that headlight ring looks like a '41. The '40 has the parking light located in the area painted red where the ribs are on yours. If you need a pic, let me know.Norm
Guest Brenthopton
Thank you Norm! I have spent a lot of time looking last few days with no luck, but now I know a set of 1940 or 1941's will work, that will double my chances! They are an odd shape with widths varying between 2 3/4"top, 2"side, and 1 3/4" bottom, with overal diameter appx 9 1/2. I will check into a fab shop in a few weeks if I can't find anything that comes close.
Guest nasmith
Give Merv Adkins a call. He is listed in the sources section of the LZOC web site. He has a yard in Pomona and has virtually everything for Lincoln V-12's.Norm
