Guest Badgoat
I have a 1929 Pontiac Coupe that I recently purchased, picked it up during my annual trip to Hershey this year. I'm trying to sort out the carb on it. Right now the hand throttle cable is unhooked and I don't see how it hooks up. If anyone could send me a good close up of the linkage I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance! badgoat@tidewater.net
Guest
Attached is a diagram from the Care and Operation manual that I have. The throttle cable and caseing comes down through the upper clamp on the manifold and the wire goes through the small square block on the end of the throttle arm #2. I reality this arm is quite a bit more horizontal or even slightly above horizontal when the arm is brought up tight agains the arm that connects to the accelerator pedal.Tinindian
