scot
Hello,My new wire harness has arrived for my 1940 Olds Series 90. Any words of wisdom before I start the operation? Oh, Just the front wire harness. Not doing the back end. Thanks for any advice.Scot
Erndog
Just did our 1940 Model 76. Don't try to do it with the instrument panel installed. Rhode Island Wiring did a bang up job making it. Even so, I found that the leads to the brake light switch were wrong. They evaluated my information and changed their pattern. Good luck with it. scot
Thanks Erndog, I hadn't thought about taking the instrument panel out. I have not started yet. I admit I am a bit nervous about pulling out the wire harness like the directions say. I had invisioned pulling one wire connection off and putting on the new one. Not realistic with the harness though. Thanks for the suggestion.Scot
Erndog
Try to take some photos before you do it. Even a bad photo of under the dash will help.
