X-Frame
Did the Hupmobile use the same exact frame as the Graham during the 1930s-1940s?If not, does anyone have a shop manual showing a diagram with dimensions? Thanks!
alsancle
I would imagine since they were completely different companies that the frames were different. However, the 40/41 Graham built Hupp Skylarks would share the same frame was the Graham Hollywoods.
Hupp36
Which are you looking for? Graham or Hupp and what year and model. The model will make a difference as the wheel base on the 6-cyl & the 8- cyl were not the same on some of the models.
X-Frame
Since my post I now know that the 1938-1940 Graham (often called the sharknose) used the same frame but not the same as Hupp. The 1940-1941 Graham Hollywood and Hupmobile Skylark were the same and pretty much thrown together with quick alterations of the Cord 810-812 style chassis to make it rear wheel drive. And Graham and Hupp in gereneral were different cars so different frames.So... this means I am looking for Hupp (Hupmobile) frame diagrams from shop manual from 1932-1939. Any help appreciated... hoping for copies or high res scans. PM me for an email address to send to... Many Thanks!Eric
