lrlforfun
OK Buick People: The sidewalk and the contour of the building look out of wack. Like me, Mitch
Guest 827GFZ73
Thanks for the good try Mitch. But keep looking guys... I will give you a hint. The executive who owns the Riviera must have had a l-o-n-g day at work. He is doing something screwy here. What is it? Also take a look at his car.....JoeNew BCA Member1973 Buick Regal Edited January 24, 2011 by 827GFZ73 Click on the picture to enlarge it. 50jetback
All the side windows are down ( no visible partition between front and rear windows ) so it appears he is about to unlock an open car.
Guest ewing
Hmmm... I'm gong to say he's pointing at his car with his key thinking... ' that is one fine looking car'; and, he is wondering where did his driver side rear view mirror and radio antenna go!That's all I've got, unless the spinner hub caps are wrong.... Pete Phillips
I agree with Stuart--getting ready to unlock a car with open windows.I can't tell if the little tri-shield hood ornament is in place or not, if this is a '63.Joe, thanks for posing the question--I love car puzzles like this!Pete Phillips, BCA #7338
JoelsBuicks
The clock says it's 6:00 but the shadow shows around noon.Joel
Guest 827GFZ73
EXCELLENT detective work guys!! Thank you all for your keen observations. Frankly, the only error I saw was the one pointed out by Stuart. The others were surprises!JoeNew BCA Member1973 Buick Regal
Centurion
Here's another, Joe. The Riviera appears to have a front valance panel painted in the body color below the front bumper. In fact, the entire assembly was part of the bumper, and the entire unit was chrome-plated.

TG57Roadmaster
Great work guys, it's curious that the antenna is missing on the brochure car, too, but the interior pic shows a radio. Mirrors apparently weren't installed till the cars were at the dealer.TG
Guest my3buicks
It is very common for brochure illustrations to be incorrect in detail - many are made up far in advance of the car being released and lack final production changes etc. Brochure pictures do not make a good guide for correctness. Guest Skyking
If my company was printing that brochure there would have been more mistakes.....................
Guest Dan Cook
Hmmm... I'm gong to say he's pointing at his car with his key thinking... ' that is one fine looking car'; and, he is wondering where did his driver side rear view mirror and radio antenna go!That's all I've got, unless the spinner hub caps are wrong....It looks like all the good guesses are used so I figure he's pointing his keyring remote at the car to unlock it and thinking, damn, I hope this thing will get me back to the future!Dan
JohnD1956
It looks to me like he has an evil grin and a gun and thinking; Take that you damned Riviera!!!
Mark Shaw
Actually, I think the clock is showing 12:30. So the shadows would be correct...My 2 cents... and that's about what it's worth!
JoelsBuicks
Then you must see the hour hand halfway between the 12 and 1?
