I have a guy in SE Michigan, with a jeweler mentality. He works for Hydra-Matic at the proving ground. Now,that I'm beyond tackling even the early postwar jobs, this guy is the only guy I'll let touch my transmissions, regardless of year. He works on them at his home. I always recommend contacting him, to see if he can do a job.

I have three '41 Cadillacs and a '41 Oldsmobile, all with postwar transmissions. In my younger days, I rebuilt all of them, and they work like a champ. They're an easy transmission to work on, so those were a piece of cake (sorta).
