This was in with a lot that I bought that had 49 Pontiac stuff, but this spot light is later. Any ideas what it's from?

Keiser31 is right. It is for Ford products. The spotlight is called a HL-1 and was made by Unity for Ford. Here is a photo of one installed on a Square Bird.

You guys led me in the right direction. After a little more research, I found out it is a Unity H2-C from the 1958 to 1960 era, and is popular on the t-birds because you can get LH AND RH hardware for it. It would have also been used on Edsel, Lincoln, and the large Fords. thanks!
