CheezeMan
Hi,A friend of mine has a T frame, but we don't know much about it. Are there any tell-tale signs to look for to determine year or body type? (sorry about my ignorance folks but am trying to help out my friend.) Any help is appreciated. The wooden cross members were to support a boat, which covered this thing for the past 40 years. Its in good shape and i believe is fully restorable.I have over 100 pictures, but am posting just a few. Comments are welcome!Thank you.
keiser31
I don't believe that there is any way to tell what body style your frame had originally.
caddyshack
I would guess a '17 to '25 frame, and the same for the rear axel. The hubs are small, so that rules out '26/27. No clue as to the wheels however. Keiser31 is right on with the body comment. The frames were standard for the appropriate years and were used on all body styles (trucks excluded). Some frames had a serial number stamped on the top passenger side near the seat cross member. Yours may not have one if it is an early frame.Good luck! bhclark
I agree with all of the above comments.Certainly interesting wheels for this frame.Keep in mind there were over 15 million of these made...frames can easily be had for $100, so there isn't that much value here...
