What is the difference between an "HC" and "HP" designation on a Mopar big block?

I know what the acronyms stand for but I don't know the exact differences in these engines.

Is there a difference in:

compression?

cams?

valve train?

Thanks

HC - High Compression : the engine will have a higher compression than the standard offering.

HP - High Performance : usually means a 4-bbl carb instead of a 2-bbl carb, sometimes with dual exhaust to go with it. If the regular engine has a 4-bbl carb then the HP could have differences in camshaft, valves, heads, manifolds, etc.
