D Yaros
One of the many business activities of R. E. Olds was that he was a banker. Note the signature at the bottom right on this bill.

D Yaros
A good question. Am afraid it would take eyes far better than mine to tell, but I doubt it.

bruffsup
Isn't that the bank in the background? If so it looks like he is driving away. He probably just made a deposit.

Guest GAOldsman
This is very neat. Wouldn't want to sell it would you?Scot
D Yaros
I could not sell it, as I do not own it. All I have is the picture! It used to be that I was the one reviving old threads. Now, it appears that I have been around here long enough that folk are reviving old threads that I have started?
Guest GAOldsman
I couldn't help myself Dave, as I also collect coins and old paper money this would have went perfect with both my Oldsmobile and currency collection. But thanks for sharing that with us. :cool:Scot
RansomEli
That is really cool. I have a signed REO stock certificate, so now I'll have to hunt one of those bank bills. Thanks for sharing
RansomEli
...on second thought, maybe I won't add to my RE Olds signature collection.Performed a Google search and found a $10 bank not for sale with RE Olds' signature. Price is $950.Hopefully, I have posted the image properly.I never thought my REO stock certificate was worth much. Maybe I will have to reevaluate.
