ADAM, Thanks for your Edit / Correction

4-DOOR SEDAN -- NOT A "HARDTOP"

The term "hardtop" in the 1950s and 1960s was an abbreviation for "Hardtop convertible" which was of course not a true convertible. With the side windows down, there was no "B" pillar behind the front door (and ahead of the rear door on a 4-door), so the car looked similar to a convertible.

Your car is considered a SEDAN. A true 1958 Buick 4-door Hardtop would typically be somewhat more valuable than your car.

I hope this enables you to present a more accurate description of your car, with less chance of misunderstanding.

Adam,

I just bought this car.

I am super excited about it. Am currently having it re-painted, although it was in very good original condition.

Can you please let me know if you were the original owner?

I would love to talk with you. Maybe bring the car by after it is restored.

Thanks very much,

Toby J. H.
