Joe47
Had my center console recovered for the ginger interior. Had to buy the entire hide. The color is camel tan which is a very close match. It is a little darker but very fine leather with a smooth grain. Have enough left over to cover your console. If you PM me your address I will send samples of the leather. The work is done by a professional shop on Long Island. I've attached photos before and after. Price is $150.00 + shipping. I will find out shipping costs before I install my console back in the car. On my first TC I paid $275.00 for this work. Joe47:)

TwinCamFan
They did a very nice job and $150 is a great deal IMO. I had 4-5 recovered and sold them a few years ago and I couldn't get one done for $150.Alan
Joe47
Thanks for the compliment Alan. The shop that did the work does marine coverings. Boat seats, tops, canvas and vynil work. Also car interiors , fabric and skeepskins. They do great work. I have not had any reqests so far. Can it be that nobody has a bad console? I've tried many times to get the original leather but never able to locate. I think I found a good match. There must be bad consoles out there. yellowdog
Mine is almost there. When the car comes back from the shop this week, I'm going to try to repair the leather. If it doesn't work out well, I'll definitely want to put an order in.A bigger headache is trying to get a replacement for the wood grain center console. Mine is crap. Do you have any ideas on how to repair that one???
Guest BarelyFit
Look back and find some one parting out their car.
yellowdog
Been trying that but seem to miss the good ones every time. The 6 hour time difference between where I am and the East Coast sucks.

Joe47
Console installed. I will get a picture posted soon. If you are interested I will send you a small sample of the leather as I said in my post. The condition of my leather and the match with the new is not going to be the same as yours. PM your address and I will send a sample, then you decide. Joe47
