Jerry - Probably everybody except me knows this, so I have to ask: What year Buicks will this fit ? Then, related to that, will it fit only certain Series Buicks in those years, or all Series ? Just for personal interest, did you refurbish this sun shade yourself ? If so, it looks like a pretty good job. The shade appears to be painted, so I guess if I need to change color, then down to bare metal we go. Thank you. Bob

Bob, not Jerald, but maybe I can answer your question. It will fit almost any, if not all, two piece windshield cars. The width is adjustable. My '50 Special sports one. As does the '40 in my signature.

Thanks Bob, for answering that so quickly. I know that it fits my 49 Special and I am sure that as Bob said it fits almost any dual windshield model... there are brackets on each side and in the center and the whole thing is adjustable by a few inches. I did not paint it, it is the way I got it, which is a dark chocolate brown with white under.

I've always liked the look a big sun shade on the front of an old car so I bought this from Jerry. Since I didn't have a car to put it on I also bought his '49 Special. LOL Now all I need are some installation instructions or an experienced sun shade installer to help me put it on the car. I'm going to post some pics in the thread I started this morning in the post-war forum when I get it painted and installed....
