Mr. Burda: I am very interested in your Roadmaster. I have sent you an email at the address shown in your listing, with some questions about your car. Not knowing how frequently you check your email, I thought I would send this Quick Reply also. My email address begins with: "rbsimmers@....." I hope to be in contact with you shortly. Thank you. Steve: Try http://forums.aaca.org/f165/dave-tachney-341710.html Have read he assisted with parts for the pair of '36's in Napier

In the 1928-1942 parts book 1936 & 1937 S80 differential & gear sets are the same (ratio 4.22 to 1). No idea if the casings are the same. Also http://forums.aaca.org/f165/rear-end-ratio-1937-buick-roadmaster-340223.html#post1101981

That ad made me think of what I have spent my money on since 2010. Could have been in my garage easily.

Regards Steve

They are great cars (In New Zealand for those who do not realize what we are discussing)

From the parts books they are 2 year only (1936 & 1937) parts for series 80. No idea if other gear set's fit

Try asking on

1937and1938Buicks : 1937 and 1938 Buicks ( Buick ) (you need to join) Many knowledgeable guys there

Team Buick, Articles and Reference - Team Buick Front Page

You may get a better response is you start a new thread Buick - Buy/Sell and/or Buick - Pre War
