Guest ddimond
I've been looking all over the internet for a harmonic balancer for my 1946 Pontiac Torpedo 4 dr sedan239 L6 EngineLake geneva, WiOriginal Part Number #511498don@dimond.comI can't find anything. It's not the rubber, it has two 1 1/2" chips out of the pulley. They are directly across from each other on the outer edge of the pulley, are half moon shaped and at the deepest point are about 1/2" deep. Couple of questions: Can this be repaired, would this be enough to make the whole car shake when sitting and bringing the RPMs up above 700-800? I know that there are places that rebuild these, but from what i read, they put new rubber in and fuse. Thanks in advance for any help!
