In 1981 Mustang didn't make a convertible but there were coach fabacaters that were converting sedans into convertibles. Some were doing them with rear seats some were doing them as two seaters. I don't know which company did this one but over all the workmanship was very good. Engine I believe to be original 3.3L inline 6 single bbl. Engine runs great with no noise or smoke. Air pump not on engine as it froze up I still have it and it will go with vehicle. Transmission 4 speed stick, no noise any gear but clutch petal sticks. Brakes were there but pedal goes to floor now. Interior does need complete redoing, drivers seat has tears. Dash needs redone. (cracks) Dash radio panel has been damaged while installing aftermarket radio. Convertible top needs replacing, top has been taken off but will go with vehicle. Was a manual top. Vehicle has air conditioning; compressor engages but doesn?t seem to blow cold. Vehicle has tilt wheel and manual windows. Body and floors very good condition. Great Project Car. Like I said this is a rare mustang. Put in a 5.0 and add ground effects and you will have something. I have good New Jersey title in my name. Respond to 609 330 3986 if no answer leave call back number or email sxsw@comcast.net. $1200 OBO Thanks, Ron
