motoringicons
This truck has been sold 10/19/2012. Thank you. This 1924 American La France was sold new to the city of Ann Arbor, Michigan and still remains in Ann Arbor with only three other owners since the city sold it in the 1950s. This is all original with superb original paint and gold leaf. It has all of its original equiptment. Recently, it has had its motor professionally rebuilt as well as the radiator and new tires installed. It has been fully serviced and is ready to enjoy. This is a great survivor fire truck with excellent preservation and great history. 54,500.00motoringicons@hotmail.com 734-730-4274<!-- google_ad_section_end --> Edited October 19, 2012 by motoringicons (see edit history)
Guest cben09
You guys may not believe,,,but,,,,these monsters handle remarkably light considering the size,,,,and will drift a dirt corner in great style,,,The racing heritage is still part of the beast,,,Cheers Ben
motoringicons
It is really amazing how easy this truck is to shift and steer. It is quite nimble with great acceleration....not to mention how great it sounds.
Guest Kenn Evans II
do you have more photo's. I am working to restore our city's ALF and some parts were stolen and photo's help much in trying to replicate parts.
