1940 gas tank

Take your dimensions over to a stock car/hot rod magazine and pick a fuel cell that is close, it will work till you find or build a replacement. This is one of those questions the Olds guys would be best to ask. Get involved with an Olds club and ask around most likely someone had a new old stock tank sitting in their garage. Found one for my 1933 Graham sedan yours should be easy!

Good luck, with old cars, meeting other old car lovers is the most fun!
