Guest jimrginther
Am looking for a hubcap that is in good or restorable condition for a 1934 Plymouth PE business coupe with artillery wheels, not the smaller caps for the wire wheels. Any help would be sincerely appreciated. Jim Ginther;)
ply33
If you are not a member of the Plymouth Owners Club you might want to consider joining. The national magazine for that club has free classified ads for members and that is probably the best place to find some of the less common parts. That said, they made a lot of PE Plymouths and the artillery wheels were the standard wheel for that, so I would have expected that hub cap to be fairly available. Guest prs519
I have one decent cap for that approximate year. Can you furnish a diameter where itengages the wheel. I do not know the type wheel it may have fit. prs519@hotmail.com.
Guest Fr Mike
Hi Jim!I have a set of 4 hubcaps, but don't know what year Plymouth they fit. Maybe they will work for you. On the back side, the diameter of the part that makes contact with the wheel clips is 6". The outside rim to outside rim diameter of the caps is 7".The caps also have the word "Plymouth" inside a parallelogram. Guest jimrginther
Hi Mike, Thanks for the response. The diameter of the wheel hole for the hubcap is exactly 6-5/8 " and the outside diameter of the hubcap is 7-1/2",and has the word Plymouth inside a parallelogram. Regards, Jim
