My 56's Engine re-painted

I finished up repainting my Roadmaster's engine. Amazing how the flash shows some spots you've missed, oh well, lots better than it was. Also, note the front stabilizer bushing comparison. May make the steering a bit better! I got all the parts and paint from CARS, they shipped quick. My first order with them, nice folks to deal with.

Thanks guys. Jaybird, you are right, but it now has a radiator and fan again. Will put in a new thermostat and radiator cap tomorrow. I plan to use distilled water and a rust inhibitor till I'm sure it will not overheat. Also getting a new vacuum advance a buddy thought it would be good to replace that. Got a NOS one today on ebay on a Buy It Now.

No before pictures. Was a dirty/greasy mess basically. I found Easy Off oven cleaner to be the best thing to use. Drove to the next town today, it stayed nice and cool both directions. I got pretty hot though, even will all 4 windows down. LOVE the way a 4dr hardtop looks with all of them down.
