Guest Big Jake
Does anybody have any information on this neat little device? From what I've been told it's called a Barton rear window stop light, I don't yet know it function, any ideas. Thanks
Richard Lichtfel
I've seen these in the back window of some cars in the 50's. I think it was actuated by a pendulum switch. It was an after market product.

aacalifeer
Big Jake, Green Dragon is correct. this was actuated with a pendulum switch. I have had a couple of complete units over the years. The green is the default light, when the gas is let off the yellow comes on, and the red natually when the brakes are applied. ( As I recall ) Very neat aftermarket item.
