Guest budd01 Posted June 10, 2010 Share Posted June 10, 2010 my good friend has a 1930 chrysler sedan, the horn is missing, what did they have for a horn and how was it mounted, we have a delco horn and i'm going to clamp it onto the steering column, i'm pretty sure thats not how it was done but it will get us by for now, thanks for any help. keiser31 Posted June 16, 2010 Share Posted June 16, 2010 (edited) My 1931 DH6 engine is nearly identical to your engine and my horn mounts on the left head studs behind the wire loom. It sits high enough to clear the spark plug wire loom. Here is mine (the primer red jobby) and another closeup example of the clearance...
