Post some pics of your Rivieras!!!!!!!!!!

You can only tell for sure by looking at shots of the hood emblem or the rear end (trunk lettering and tail lights), but if the car in the photo has not been tampered with, it's a 63.  In 63, the space between the vanes on the cast covers was natural aluminum; in 64 that space would have been painted black.

We took The Aqua Zephyr to the Airborne and Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville, NC this Memorial Day weekend.  See their website here: https://www.asomf.org/

The "Field of Honor" had several hundred US flags on display on the grounds of the museum.

We are very humbled to work at Fort Bragg, NC as US Army civilians and to be surrounded by our brave men and women of our Armed Forces every day.

Looks correct for the period.

My lovely wife always practical thought $999.00 for the chrome Dinsmore compass was not a good investment. Other compasses online for sale were less expensive, but still too $ for me. I thought the Riverside from Montgomery Ward made by Airway in Mexico Indiana was a good deal. The Airway set me back $32.50 to include shipping. I had some Grenada Red touch up paint so I made an effort to paint the compass to match the interior. The compass finishes my extra add on for the Red Riviera.

Gabriel,

no doubt your reply was in you most outrageous French accent.

Ah monsieur Arnaud,

Those magnifique vines must be Champagne or perhaps a Beaujolais or Burgandy! Hard to see because the Buick is in the way!

What a great scene for a lovely car !  A ‘ 67 Buick Riviera or any Riviera for that matter would certainly be a rare treat over in France

( except on the French Riviera perhaps)

Enjoy And welcome Artaud to this forum!

Rodney ?????

We attended the Tarheel Tigers Pontiac Club Car Show in Cary, NC this weekend. We were able to park in the 50th Anniversary section of the show with some pretty awesome 68 Pontiacs.

We received a 3rd place trophy in the 1960-1969 Buick-Olds-Cadillac classification. We tied with a 1968 Buick Electra 225 convertible.

We were also awarded a trophy for Best 50 year old Buick-Olds-Cadillac and we were presented with this 50th Anniversary Buick-Olds-Cadillac display banner.

I saw this on the FB ROA page. Is this a real car or a Photoshop mockup?

Good day...

Cool looking concept. I could be wrong, but I believe it was created here...

Later,

Mike

Edit... Found what appears to be the original image, the one in post 965 appears to be copied and manipulated from the original by auto-visual.. If so, they both did a pretty cool job...

Here is a picture of our 1971 Buick Riviera.  It is an AACA Senior car, twice nominated for an AACA National Award.  I'm also wondering if we decided to sell it for $22,500 if anybody out there would be interested?

Uh-oh this sounds serious...  You may need to shed that '61 to make room!  ;)
