dwollam
I have added the proposed itinerary for the NW DB Region Mini Meet in Hood River OR May 14-16 2010. Still have room for more people if interested! We would love to see everyone there. www.nwdbregion.org
DDewey
Dave, What are the "historic Tunnels" that the state is charging so much to drive through? A website on them? Thanks,David D.
dwollam
They are known as the Mosier Tunnels. They are east of Hood River and west of Mosier. They are on the historic highway along side the Columbia River and I-84. They are closed to normal traffic, except foot and bike. Clubs, with a permit can take 1948 and older only cars through them. There is a $100 fee to do that, so 20 cars = $5 a car. Not too bad in my book! I am not aware of a website for them.By the way, there is no entry for the Mini Meet! Each person takes care of their own entries and meals and lodging, so it only costs as much as you wish to spend.
