vetsalsman
My first car was a 71 buick skylark custom that was bought & ordered new by my Dad as I sat next to him. I was 10 @ the time & by the time I got the car it had 120K miles & some rust but I loved it none the less. I was wondering if a 70 -72 skylark or GS factory equipped with a console shiftedautomatic still has a gear selector indicator on the dash? Can anyone provide a definitive answerThanks

vetsalsman
thanksI've seen a little plate on manual transmission GS's that cover the space on the speedometer guage where the automatic gear indicator is usually located which made me wonder about the console shifted automatics.
