George Albright
Dear Friends I just purchased a 1916 Kelsey complete rolling chassis, minus body in Cambridge,N.Y. Zip Code 12816. It is 103 Inch wheelbase,or the same size as a Model T Ford chassis, which is 100 Inch Wheelbase. It rolls easily but does not run. Approx weight is 900 lbs.The steering column is off of it,so the chassis is not very high, and thus would easily go in a stacked hauler. I need it shipped in an enclosed trailer to me at Ocala,Fla. Zip code 34471. Will pay $600 for the haul, which must also include any booking fees by a 3rd party. Leads appreciated,as well as fowarding this to your hauler friends looking to fill up a load. Thanks,George Albright,Ocala,Fla. cell 352 843 1624 email gnalbright@gmail.com Edited April 15, 2010 by George Albright (see edit history)
George Albright
Sorry Forgot-here are photos of the chassis below to be hauled. Engine is a 4 cylinder,20 HP or so engine made by Messnick Phipps Company of Detroit. This was Mr. Kelseys personal car for several decades, and the prototype for the 1920-24 Kelsey cars. Has unusual friction drive in the REAR of the car! George
