model 27 toolbox

I have a toolbox for a Peerless model 27. I would like to be certain of where the box was located in the car layout. It is a wood toolbox with a pull up lid and 2 main drawers with brass fittings and a plate from the Peerless Co.

I have seen period ads that seem to place it under the front seat. Everything on the running boards seems to be metal encased.

I'd be grateful if anybody had more information on the toolbox and images of any others.
