1954 new yorker wagon parts wanted

Recommended Posts

i resurrected a 54 NY hemi wagon that passed through 3 owners over 20 years who did nothing but store it and lose parts. i got it running well, the brakes are done, new tires, etc. but i need a few trim items to finish it off. looking for nice pieces, no dents or pitting.

the right rear fender stainless gravel guard is gone. may be wagon only.

both front door stainless spears. 37.5" long.

both front fender stainless spears.

chrome cast piece on hood front lip.

decent chrome tailgate hinges.

left headlight door.

both sides cast chromed outer grille extensions with park light.

tailgate window right corner chrome angled piece.

rear fender cast chrome spear, curved in front and rear.

tail light housings.

curved trims under tail lights.

decent reddish brown steering wheel.

any leads appreciated. john 206 789 6800 or jwworkshop@aol.com seattle, wa.

I'm straightening and polishing a set of rocker trim and gravel-guards for a customer of mine doing the same wagon. Looking at google photos I think you may be right about those guards being wagon only.

The ones I'm doing for him look like they were stepped on by an elephant and kicked around by a bull. I suspect he would only have two reasons for having me fix the ones he gave me: he knows I can and/or there ain't many to be had.

He has two of the wagons so I'll ask him if he has some of the rest of the stuff yer lookin' for.

I think I'll take some before and after photos of those pieces and post them on this thread if you wouldn't mind.......it would be good for folks to know what I'm capable of and keep them from throwing potentially good parts away.

I believe some of the parts your are asking for are available on a 54 chrsler NY. Also, theer are a couple of 53-54 wagons on evilbay. I had a 53 T&C that I restored 20 years ago. It went to a museum in Lapan in 1990. I was robins egg blue with a Oak intereior.
