Expansion Plug Size Behind Cam Gear?

JZRIV

Recommended Posts

There are 3 expansion-type plugs behind the cam timing gear on the 425. The diameter of the holes measure around .605 but that doesn't equate to a normal fraction.

Anyone know exactly what size these are? I'd like to know what size to ask for when checking around to purchase them.

Thanks

Responding to my own post in the event someone does a search for these oil galley plugs in the future.

After considerable effort, I found there is a standard expansion plug that works perfectly which is a 39/64" diameter. Dorman PN 555-067. Most amazing my local auto parts had them in stock.

Checking by application in Dorman's book, it does not indicate this is the right part number but they fit perfectly.
