dwollam
I am still waiting for my wife's boss to tell her if she can have the time off. If so we plan to be there. What are the rest of us eating?

What are the rest of us eating? If she can't get the time off, tell her to quit. If you don't eat chicken, then you are stuck with scrapel and chow chow, maybe some shoo fly pie for dessert. BTW, the phone number for the Country Inn and Suites is 717-337-9518. Hope to see all of you there!

nearchoclatetown
What site has the meet information? Did not see it on the DBC site. That's a REAL good question. It's been in at least the last two newsletters, but it SHOULD have been posted on the club site by now.
hwellens
Easy Question: What is the date of the meet?
dwollam
Well Doug, her boss says she doesn't "think" there will be a problem getting the time off but it is still not official. Post Office. What can I say?I have no idea what those foods are you mentioned. Must be a north east thing!
nearchoclatetown
Easy Question: What is the date of the meet? Dates are from June 21-25. Dave, that's great. You're going to be pretty close to PA. Dutch territory, have to eat the local foods. Scrapel, hog maw, and tripe are misc. pig parts, you won't see me touch any of that. Shoo fly pie on the other hand is excellant. I have to get moving on the DA, finish up the brakes and such.
TonyAus
Will someone please let me in on the chicken joke? It seems to surface on a regular basis and I am feeling left out. (only if it doesn't cause gross offence to public decency or scare the horses)Tony
nearchoclatetown
There is one DBC member that seems to have a "special" relationship with a rubber chicken, if you know what I mean. RickBrinker
We were at the Mass. meet and I was following a Dodge Brothers car that burnt oil awfully bad and another Member asked me if I was getting hungry for smoked turkey and I said yes, well he couldn't find a rubber turkey so he gave me a rubber chicken as a joke
